Leah Davis is a Belfast-born artist who graduated in 2021 from the Belfast School of Art with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art. Since graduating, she has exhibited both nationally and internationally, presenting dynamic figurative works.
As a contemporary figurative painter, Leah’s practice explores the human condition through body language, gesture, and the figure’s relationship with space. Blending painting and drawing, her work investigates the dialogue between form and negative space, revealing moments of intimacy, vulnerability, and shared human experience.
Leah draws inspiration from the people she encounters and from the current social and environmental climate. Through ongoing research and experimentation, her work engages with themes of storytelling and the human condition, addressing relevant and real subjects.
